B.Sc Nuring Program Details

The undergraduate nursing program is braod based education within an academic curricular framework specifically directed to the development of critical thinking skills, competencies aprropriate to human and professional values. The aim is to prepare the students to assume role of practitioner, teacher, supervisor and manager in all healthcare settings

Eligibility Criteria B.Sc Program:

  • Only female candidates are eligible to apply
  • Candidates should have passed HSC or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together and passed in English individually. (For SC/ST/OBC candidates not less than 40% aggregate is essential).
  • Should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.
  • Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by state Government and National Institute of Open school(NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
  • English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc.(Nursing).
  • Colour blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates
  • Candidates shall be medically fit
  • Married candidates are also eligible for admision
  • Only females are eligible
  • Students shall be admitted once in a year.
  • Selection of candidates should be based on the merit of the entrance examination. Entrance test shall comprise of
  • Minimum qualify marks for entrance test shall be 50% marks. Entrance test shall be conducted by University State Government.
