DGNM Program Details

The basic Diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery is geared to the health needs of the individuals, family, community and the country at large. We aim to prepare nurses with a sound educational program in nursing to enable them to function as efficient member of the health team.

  • Course Duration 3 Years (Inclusive of Internship Period)
  • Admission Intake40 Students Only Girls
  • Mode of Admission Entrance Test
  • Hostel Facilities Available for Only Girls

Eligibility Criteria GNM Program

  • The minimum educational qualification shall be 10 +2 passed with any subject, with minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognised. 5% relaxation is permitted to SC/ST candidates.
  • Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by state Government and National Institute of Open school(NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational Stream-Healthcare Science from a school recognized CBSE Board/State/Centre.
